Cori Maulding, Regional Brand Manager

Cori Maulding is one of the first people you may meet when you enter the office of Dr. Travis Shaw. Her warm, attentive and caring personality are sure to help make your visit to the office unlike any other doctor’s office visit you have experienced in the past.

She is known to those who visit us here in office for her excellent customer service and communication!

Cori has been with Travis Shaw, MD since April 2013. She is a graduate of Matoaca High School and received her esthetician training from the American Spirit Institute of Esthetics in 2008. She is known to those who visit us here in office for her excellent customer service and communication!

When Cori is not at work she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Skylar and their mini labradoodle, Nala.

Kamryn Garrett, Assistant Brand Manager

Kamryn Garrett is the Assistant Brand Manager for Synergy Face + Body by Travis Shaw MD and is the backbone of our the new Midlothian location.

Kamryn joined Dr. Shaw’s team Summer of 2021 and has been working in the medical field for the majority of her adult career. After her college program through Disney she fell in love with helping others find joy within themselves, so the cosmetic industry was the perfect fit!

When Kamryn is not at work she enjoys spending time with her significant other Austin and their corgi Penelope or with her nose stuck in a good book.

Jamie Maggard, Surgical Coordinator for Dr. Shaw

Jamie joined Dr. Shaw as his Surgical Coordinator in the fall of 2021. Before joining the Synergy by Shaw team, she worked in pediatrics. She fell in love with the aesthetics industry very quickly and loved seeing the positive changes that plastic surgery offered to so many patients. Seeing people happy with their results makes Jamie happy! She’s learned everything she knows about aesthetics from hands-on training with Dr. Shaw and his team. Her favorite services to watch are Blepharoplasties, Threads, Co2 Lasers, and earlobe repairs. 

When she’s not at work, Jamie enjoys spending time and traveling with her boyfriend Dallas and her chocolate lab, Oakley.


Whitney Lange, FNP-C | Lead Aesthetics Injector

Whitney Lange, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner and our lead injector!  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University and spent the first part of her career taking care of moms and newborn babies in the Birthplace at Memorial Regional Medical Center. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and immediately went into medical aesthetics after graduation.  Whitney has been in medical aesthetics since 2016. She developed a proficiency in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, skin rejuvenation, and fat-reduction, and she went on to become an instructor in the field.  After three years of traveling and performing training across the state, Whitney joined the Travis Shaw, MD team in the Summer of 2020.

Whitney and her husband, Tyler, welcomed their first child in January 2023.  They have 2 dogs, Maggie and Stirling, and they love exploring Richmond’s local breweries, wineries, parks, and trails.


Jessica Kernodle, PA-C | Aesthetic Injector

Jessica is a board certified physician assistant and Richmond native.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Biology from James Madison University in 2008 and went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Shenandoah University in 2010. She has 12+ years of experience as a PA in the fields of emergency medicine, women’s health, and aesthetics. Her passion for aesthetic medicine began when she worked in the emergency department where she honed her procedural skills and enjoyed the challenge of suturing wounds to achieve a good cosmetic closure. Jessica began her injecting career in 2017 and has undergone extensive training in cosmetic injecting, including advanced techniques using neurotoxins and dermal fillers. For Jessica, the aesthetic field is the perfect combination of medicine and artistry. She strives to keep up with the latest advances in this ever changing field by attending conferences and hands-on cadaver anatomy courses specific to injecting. She enjoys using her artistic eye to develop treatments plans to help her patients look and feel their best. She loves connecting with her patients while building lasting relationships and strives to make them feel at ease when discussing their concerns. 

Jessica is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. She was voted by her peers as one of Richmond’s “Top Docs” in Richmond Magazine‘s physician assistant category and recognized by Our Health Magazine for “Best Bedside Manner.”

She now resides in Midlothian with her husband, Shea, and their two young boys and rambunctious golden-doodle, “Beau.” In their free time they enjoy spending time at the beach as well as exploring all that Richmond has to offer. Jessica also has a knack for baking, crafting, and entertaining.


Jasmine Aldabagh, PA | Aesthetic Injector

Jasmine Aldabagh is our skilled aesthetic injector at our Midlothian location. She earned her Bachelor of Science in 2015 and completed her physician assistant studies in 2017, both from MCPHS University in Boston, MA. Prior to transitioning to aesthetics in 2018, she worked in emergency medicine. She values advanced training and has spent time working with the best of the best at Allergan and Galderma.

Her favorite treatment to perform is Botox, though she loves getting to create great outcomes with filler as well. You can follow along with her on social at @injector.jasmine.

Adriane Rodgers, FNP-C | Aesthetic Injector

Adriane Rodgers is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience. She is passionate about medical aesthetics and working with patients to personalize a treatment program that is just right for them.

A native of Massachusetts, she earned Masters degrees from the University of Massachusetts Worcester in Nurse Practitioning and Connecticut College in Psychology. Prior to working in aesthetics, Adriane enjoyed working in Internal Medicine and in Headache Medicine. 

Adriane is an avid learner and belongs to multiple professional societies supporting her including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery, the National Headache Foundation, and is a TITAN Injector Member. It is rare to not find her doing some form of continuing education weekly to learn from the most prolific aesthetic providers in the field. 

Adriane’s favorite and most requested procedures are neurotoxin administration with Botox and Dysport, lip augmentation, and antiaging facial rejuvenation. Outside of work, Adriane can be found keeping up with her two school age children and doing yoga.


Kimberly Choate, Medical Aesthetician + Laser Specialist

Kimberly Choate is a licensed medical aesthetician, certified aesthetic laser operator & certified laser safety officer. She graduated from American Spirit Institute of Esthetics in 2004. Kimberly was one of the first licensed master aestheticians in the state of VA in 2007 when VA first began offering licensure for both professional + master aestheticians. It was in 2007 that she left the day spa field and began working in the medical aesthetics industry. Within that same year, Kimberly earned her laser certifications, fell in love with medical aesthetics + has never looked back! 

Over her total 18 years in the field of aesthetics, Kimberly has enjoyed setting goals with her patients and seeing their  goals come to life. Kimberly is a firm believer that the combination of a medical grade home skin care regimen and regularly scheduled professional treatments is what will bring about life changing results in the skin of her patients! Kimberly was voted in as the winner of “2019 Best Aesthetician in Williamsburg, VA” in the Virginia Gazette’s Best of Williamsburg Awards for 2019.

Aliyah Bowen | Medical Aesthetician + Laser Specialist

Aliyah Bowen has been a Medical Aesthetician in the medical aesthetics field since 2019. Aliyah loves to stay up to date with the newest skin care technology. She is constantly utilizing social media to expand her knowledge of the latest skin care trends. In her teens, she began to experience hormonal acne and started to educate herself on different acne treatments. She is passionate about taking her time to research different skincare ingredients, and experiment with various routines and makeup products.

In her free time, Aliyah loves to spend time with her husband, Blake and her Husky, Jax and new English Bulldog puppy, Ivy. She enjoys traveling, frequently going to Mississippi and New Orleans for long weekends. She is a firm believer that skin health starts from within, so you can find her trying out new workout classes and healthy recipes.

Amia Voorhees | Medical Aesthetician + Laser Specialist

Amia Voorhees has been a licensed aesthetician since 2015 and is a member of our founding team at our Midlothian location. She received her aesthetics license from Rizzieri Aveda School and attended the Institute for Laser Medicine where she received advanced training on multiple lasers, IPL & radio frequency modalities.

Amia is certified in CoolSculpting, Hydrafacial MD, Dermapen microneedling, CIT Dermaplaning, PCA chemical Peels, and more. She enjoys performing extractions, laser treatments, and chemical peels and especially enjoys treating acne and hyperpigmentation. Amia has a strong passion for the esthetics and beauty industry and loves to perform results oriented treatments. She believes when you look good you feel good! She loves to have a great time with her family and friends, and is always laughing!
