Joan Moore, Practice Manager
Joan Moore is the newest addition to our family at Dr. Travis Shaw MD’s office in her role as Practice Manager. Joan brings with her many years of practice management experience with a focus on plastic surgery and the cosmetic industry. She is a certified Medical Office Manager and is a member of MGMA, American Association of Plastic Surgery, and Richmond Medical Managers. Her motto is “People First.”
She enjoys creating a teamwork environment with an emphasis on patient care. If you have any concerns with your experience or praise for your time at our office, she is here to assist! Her passion is empowering people to be the best they can be, and she’s excited to be part of the team!
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as her dog Cede. She loves traveling and has visited many countries. Cori Maulding, Patient Care Coordinator and Esthetician
Cori Maulding is one of the first people you may meet when you enter the office of Dr. Travis Shaw. Her warm, attentive and caring personality are sure to help make your visit to the office unlike any other doctor’s office visit you have experienced in the past. Cori serves two roles in the office; the first being our patient care coordinator, and she is also our Esthetician! As an esthetician, Cori serves to educate patients about the importance of medical grade skincare & how to help maintain your results so you always feel your best. Cori consistently provides and maintains the highest standard of esthetics to include treatment and recommendations for home care, and by doing so, provides an overall excellent experience. As our patient care coordinator, she sees patients through their journey at Travis Shaw MD to ensure everyone leaves feeling like the best version of themselves.
Cori has been with Travis Shaw MD since April 2013. She is a graduate of Matoaca High School and received her esthetician training from the American Spirit Institute of Esthetics in 2008. She is known to those who visit us here in office for her excellent customer service and communication!
When she isn’t helping patients, Cori enjoys time with her daughter as a coach for her softball team, and volunteering for Clover Hill Sports Association as a Cheer Director. Together, they also enjoy going on new adventures, and spending quality time with family & friends.
Whitney Mills, Master Injector
Whitney Mills, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner and our master injector! She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University and spent the first part of her career taking care of moms and newborn babies in the Birthplace at Memorial Regional Medical Center. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and immediately went into medical aesthetics after graduation. She developed a proficiency in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, skin rejuvenation, and fat-reduction, and she went on to become an instructor in the field. After three years of travelling and performing trainings across the state, Whitney is excited to have settled here at Travis Shaw, MD.
When she is not here helping our patients, Whitney loves taking road trips, working out at Orange Theory Fitness, and spending time with her dog, Magnolia.
Franki Lambiotte, Master Licensed Aesthetician (Certified ZO® Skin Health Expert)
Franki Lambiotte is our master licensed aesthetician. She began her career in aesthetics here in Richmond, VA in 2011. Franki’s advanced training in skin care combined with her experience as a master esthetician and laser specialist, and Day Spa owner, provided her with the foundation to transition into medical aesthetics. She is excited to be part of the team at Dr. Shaw’s practice, and since 2016 has been an integral part of the Skin Care Program, utilizing new technologies and products to create the most well-rounded approach to overall skin health.
Franki is most passionate about problematic skin care such as acne, rosacea, melasma and sun-damaged skin. She enjoys sharing the most up-to-date skin care products and procedures with her patients and creating a customized treatment to meet specific skincare needs. Since joining the practice, Franki often attends clinical seminars for certifications in laser treatments, skin rejuvenation and to pursue further product education.
In her spare time, she enjoys time with her two children and their dog (a Boxer!), as well as volunteering with her women’s club, the food bank, and at Lucy Corr Nursing Home.
