Botox Injections – Anatomy and Technique

Botox is also very effective when used for the wrinkles around the eyes known as “crow’s feet.” These lines are a result of smiling and squinting. When the 11’s and the crow’s feet are both treated, a nice natural elevation of the brow occurs; this is called the “Botox Browlift.” Botox can also be used for wrinkles on the nose known as “bunny lines,” or for the horizontal wrinkles across the upper forehead. In the lower face, the corners of the mouth can be lifted with small injections. Botox lasts, on average, about 3-4 months, though some patients notice that the effects last longer after 3 or 4 Botox treatments.
