Is it Painful?
We use topical anesthesia to help minimize pain. We can also provide patients with a mild sedative that is taken by mouth, if needed.
What is Recovery Like? Is There Downtime or Medication?
There is some redness, swelling, and peeling for one to three days. Some redness may remain for up to 5-10 days. There are no medications, however we will recommend a skin care regimen during your recovery.
