I have repaired patients gauged earlobes when they were entering the military, were looking for a new job, or just decided that they didn’t like the look any longer.
Gauged earlobe repair is a simple, in office procedure that can be performed in an hour. Patients are able to return to work or school the next day and do not have to wear bulky bandages or dressings. I use very small dissolvable sutures that are almost impossible to see unless you look closely.
