The Vectus laser is very safe as it uses a new technology known as the Skintel Melanin Reader. The Skintel precisely measures the amount of melanin pigment in the skin and then sends this information wirelessly to the laser to give the most accurate settings for each particular patient. Using Skintel, the safest and most effective settings for laser hair removal are programmed into the laser.
The Vectus also uses a unique sapphire cooling tip to pre-cool the skin around the treated area. Many other lasers use a cooling spray which can be messy and less effective for comfort. Combining the cooling tip with the speed of the Vectus makes the treatments virtually pain-free.
